One step closer to NY!

I%26#39;ll take Manhattan....the Bronx and Staten Island...whoops,getting ahead of myself...

Tomorrow I make my plane reservation and call the hotel. I decided to fly into Islip (closer to Montauk) and rent a car from there, then I can visit Long Island as I wish. Return the car to the airport and take the LIRR into Manhattan (let us hope the strike is over by May!). It%26#39;s a business trip, so the flight is on work as is the NYC hotel. Hooray!

Am planning on staying at the Abingdon in the West Village/Chelsea area as the reviews are ok and a NY person who works with me also said it was a good spot to stay.

Anyway, I am off on a Southern roadtrip for Christmas and hope to be in NY NY this May. Happy holidays all and hope the strike is done for you soon.

Well, if the strike isn%26#39;t over by May, we will all be in big trouble!!!!

One step closer to NY!

It is definite, I will be in NY and Long Island the first week of May. Am so excited! Staying at the Abingdon in the West Village for 5 nights and am determined to sneak away from work duties and see something too! :-)
