We%26#39;re currently planning our honeymoon for July 06 and are thinking of spending 3 nights in New York followed by 10 nights in Bermuda. We chose Bermuda because we want to stay somewhere romantic with beautiful beaches and a more relaxed way of life. We also wanted somewhere with things to do and places to visit when we tire of relaxing. We were concerned that 14 nights on Bermuda may be too long and would not provide us with enough to keep us occupied so we are contemplating spending the first few nights in New York. Our only concern is whether New York is too hectic for a honeymoon and not very romantic? Would this combination work?
Honeymoon
I%26#39;m making my first trip to NY for *my* honeymoon next month! There are lots of reasons why we%26#39;re going there and only there, which I won%26#39;t bore you with, but if I was looking at a longer time away - like you are - in all honesty I%26#39;d be tempted to go straight to the relaxing bit of the holiday after all the stresses and excitement of the wedding, and do NY after I%26#39;d chilled out.
Viewing sunset from the top of the Empire State Building; horse and carriage rides around Central Park; fabulous restuarants and luxury hotels ... what%26#39;s NOT romantic about that? ;-)
