Hi
We are going to New York next August and wondered if anyone can advise me of a good agency to get an apartment through. It needs to sleep 4 people and have full kitchen facilites (daughter is on a very restricted diet). It will have to be central too.
Any advise welcome.
Thanks
Kat.
New York Apartments??
NYhabitat.com and citylightsnewyork.com are just 2 cos. that people have used successfully.
There are also a number of hotels that have apartment sized rooms so you have the benefit of space/convenience of the apt. plus daily maid service, concierge etc. of a hotel. The kitchens in these don%26#39;t always have a full cooker. They usually have a sink/fridge, microwave and a burner. Affinia.com is a group of 7 hotels, all very well reviewed here that offer that.
Would help to know what sort of budget you have. www.apartments2book.com is another website people have used. They have a combination of apt/hotels and regular apartments.
New York Apartments??
Three of us have just stayed in an excellent apartmentover Christmas on Upper East Side from City Lights. One bedroom plus large sofa bed. Lovely furnishings and great location.
Great to hear lacemonkey. Would help if you told us a bit more to have on record. Dealings with citylights? Approximate area of apt (70s? 80s?) Did you have to have dealings with apt. owner? Was it a doorman building? etc. Thanks. Assume you got the reco for citylights from this board?
lacemonkey Would you mind me asking how much you paid and how long you stayed?
Hi
We used WooGo for a NYC Apt got one in Harold Towers by Macy%26#39;s for Thanksgiving.
Cooked diner in the Kitchen. Clean small older apt...better than some hotels if you need the space and to cook meals. The daily rate is similar to hotel rates.
Please, please don%26#39;t use WooGo. They are very disreputable. Please read all of this and it%26#39;s links.
