April is usually cold, raw and windy - and it rains a lot. We are finally able to shed the hats, gloves and scarves, but it%26#39;s still cold enough to require sweaters and down jackets/vests.

If you come late in April it will be a high of 18 C.

We have no idea what to expect either!

Invariably, there%26#39;s some sort of freak snowstorm sometime in Mid-April. Baseball season starts in April, and I can%26#39;t remember a time in the past 10 years or so where the wasn%26#39;t a weather reporter standing on the field of Yankee Stadium saying, ';Wow! Only one week until opening day and look at this freak snow storm!';

This is usually followed by two days of incredibly beautiful, sunny warm weather.

Be prepared for anything, and bring an umbrella and sunglasses.
