But now we are looking for a hotel, we were going to book the Radio City Apartments for a week 22nd 29 March but when i checked it said it unavailable but we still are looking for a hotel in the same price range so can guys help out?

we are wanting to go for a week or so and pay around $1400 (拢750ish) for the hotel we can be a bit flexible with it but not to much!

The Salisbury has a rate of $179/night on their own website for your dates.

Other options I%26#39;d consider from quikbook.com

The Excelsior (upper west side lovely hotel) $154/night

Shelburne Murray Hill studio suite $179/night

By all accounts the Radisson Lexington is not very good. Any of these will be MILES better. I should have also mentioned that I have sometimes seen better (ie less expensive) prices for the Salisbury on quikbook.com than on the Salisbury%26#39;s own website. Sure enough, there%26#39;s a rate of $148/night for the Salisbury on quikbook for your dates while on the hotel%26#39;s own website the only option I got was the $179. The $179 is for a king bed, while the $148 is for a ';standard queen or 2 doubles.'; It doesn%26#39;t make clear the size of the room on either website. If you want the cheapest rate possible, go with the quikbook rezzie but it requires pre-payment so you can%26#39;t really cancel.

Have you discovered hotwire.com? They don%26#39;t tell you the hotel name until after you%26#39;ve paid but they will list hotel rating (stars) and facilities. See www.betterbidding.com for an idea what the hotel might be and be brave!

We%26#39;ve just got the Barclay Intercontinental for $170 per night compared to their advertised rate of $295. Have used hotwire in London, Birmingham, Paris, Chicago, Las Vegas and now New York and got amazing value each time!
