Oh...., I want to visit New York again!

It`s been a long time since iv猫 been on the trip advisor.

After our visit to New York in september i haven`t been so active on this site.

After i started looking again i really just wanted to go back.

It was the best vacation we(husband and i) ever had.

Sadly we can`t visit New York in 2006 since we visited New York alone without the kids in sep.

We owe the kids a fun vacation that they will enjoy next year.

I guess it`s not the ideal place to take a 4 and a 6 year old :o).

We will probably go to Spain instead.

Hopefully we will visit again in 2007,if we are lucky.

I just had to write this after i got sentimental when reading about your great city. :o)

Best wishes to all people who are planning a trip to NY and a happy new year.

Oh...., I want to visit New York again!

We just returned from NYC where we had a great time with the kids. My kids are a little older (7 and 10) but they said they liked NY better than Disney. Search the forum for things to do with kids and you may be persuaded to bring them, that way you all win.

Oh...., I want to visit New York again!

Happy New Year to you, too, eline! The wonderful thing about NYC is no matter how many times you visit, you can always find something different to do!

Don%26#39;t underestimate NYC for kids. We took our daughter when she was six, and we%26#39;re taking her back this summer (she%26#39;ll be eight). She liked NYC more than Disney, which, lucky for us, means we can all have many happy vacations.

If you%26#39;ve got super active kids who tend to stray or get overwhelmed when around lots of activity, then maybe NYC wouldn%26#39;t work. Just maybe. But NYC has so many varied attractions for kids, there%26#39;s usually something for everyone. And kids that age are still fascinated by simple things. My daughter was entertained for an hour watching the queue at Gray%26#39;s Papaya!

The one thing we didn%26#39;t do last time was ride the subway. Even if I could have gotten my kid below ground (she was too scared of the noise coming from below to even venture down), I would have been too nervous about getting her on and off, so we skipped it. Besides, with family, the subway fare isn%26#39;t as great as when traveling alone.

Whatever you choose, have a great vacation!

Hi Eline, happy New Year to you too!

The Daisiegees are here for the holidays, and we were strolling up Fifth Avenue last night and talking about how awful it%26#39;d be to brave the throngs with a little child. The little ones in strollers didn%26#39;t seem too pleased to be in the midst of such madness. On the other hand, if you can avoid midtown crowds at year-end, there is lots to do with little ones. And in the summer it%26#39;s fantastic, particularly spending time in Central Park. You just need to plan the trip around them, and do things that interest them.

In any case, hope you can make it back in %26#39;07. Meanwhile, you can visit ';virtually'; on line. And Spain sounds pretty good!

I know just how you feel.

BUT with the new year, I can now say that I was in New York last year and will be there again next year - yeah!!!!!

I don%26#39;t know how you stayed away from this site - I think I%26#39;m addicted and couldn%26#39;t get back to work today to check up on everyone and what they are doing!!!
