Across the street is Roxie%26#39;s deli..which gets mixed reviews. The portions are huge,....but you can bring home leftovers and put in your fridge for lunch the next day. They also have awesome cheesecake. There are so many restaurants around the area you can just go out for a walk and see what interests you.

Not being quite sure of what you like and what you mean by reasonable, so will give you some cheap options as you have some more expensive options already.

Sapporo - a very reasonable Japanese noodle shop.

La Paloma - Mexican.

Lots of diners like Cafe Cello and Le Rendez-Vous Cafe.

Connolly%26#39;s pub on w.45 is near this location. It%26#39;s where we ate when we wanted something quick and convenient when we stayed at the Doubletree. It%26#39;s typical bar food but quite reasonably priced. connollyspubandrestaurant.com/index.html

Thanks to everyone who posted ideas. Your advice is so much better than a guide book! We are a family of five (3 kids--18, 22, 23) so our food preferences are all over the map. These sound like great suggections.

A great place for lunch would be Johns Pizza on 44st Street between 7th %26amp; 8th Avenues.

Also, Carmines is very popular, family style portions, great for a family of 5, located on W. 44 St between 7th %26amp; 8th Avenues.
