I am only now in the research stage. Never been to the east coast at all. We have two small kids ages 9 and 6 so I thought we would for sure want to see Central park and possibly a show. We are thinking of visiting in July. Any advice would be helpful such as were to stay and what else to see and do with kids. Thank You!

What%26#39;s your hotel budget? Have a look on quikbook.com for hotels/good prices. With kids it might be a good idea to stay in an all suite hotel where the rooms have kitchens/kitchenettes for breakfast/snacks, take away. Lots of options depending on price.
gocitykids.com is a good website for kid related things.
Just remember July can be very hot.
