buffalo to toronto

I have a meeting in Toronto and am considering flying into Buffalo to save money and take a look at Niagra Falls. How long would the drive from the Buffalo airport to Toronto be including border crossing? How much time should I allot to check out Niagra Falls? Thanks!

Depending on traffic-(which as you get closer to TO is a huge consideration) it could take between 90 minutes and 2 and 1/2 hours. Crossing the border is a crap shoot, but it usually doesn%26#39;t take much time. Have your driver%26#39;s license ready.

If you are coming after April you must make some time to do the Maid of the Mist-it is an awesome experience. If you only had time to do one thing at the Falls-this would be it. So give yourself at least a few hours-one day would be better.

From the Buffalo Airport to Toronto will take a little over two hours depending on your traffic when you close in on Toronto. Try to avoid rush hour. Buffalo to the Falls and over the border should take less than 1 hour and the bridge at most time will only take 10-20 minutes. You can stop and park along the Niagara Parkway and see the falls. Give yourself about 1/2 hour unless you have more time available. I would recommend you continue to drive the Niagara Parkway through Niagara on the Lake and hook back up with the QEW in St. Catherines to head up into Toronto. This will take an extra 1/2 hour or so but you will appreciate the investment of time. Winston Churchill described his drive from Niagara Falls to Niagara on the Lake the prettiest drive he has ever taken. Stop at a few wineries to bring home a sample of the region.
