New Years Eve

As a new member to the site ive just been doing a little browsing and have started to get very worried about the fact im in new york from 11pm on the 29th till jan the 5th and havent got a clue where to eat for new years eve!!! I really dont think i want to go to times square, although our hotel is in that area.

ideally i%26#39;d like to be able to have a decent meal with my boyfriend at a semi decent restuarant and then be able to see the new year in in a nice bar where the alcohol will flow.

Any suggestions that are viable at this late notice would be really appreciated!

New Years Eve

You might check out Au Coin Du Feu, a french restaurant, on Lafayette and Spring Streets. I was there tonight and the owner mentioned that the restaurant is doing a special ';prix fixe'; menu; I believe there is still room available. It is a small, cozy restaruant. For a nice bar, there seem to be several in that area. Good luck!
